WWII Propaganda
The WWII Propaganda project was a three day project in which we learned about the different theatres involved in WWII. Out of the three theatres (Pacific, European, and Forgotten), we were assigned one to study. My partner and I studied the Pacific Theatre and created our own propaganda poster. Our poster depicts soldiers and fighter jets with the caption "Remember Pearl Harbor...and on to victory! Join the armed forces today". After the attack on Pearl Harbor, there was a song written about it, and we used lyrics from this song in our poster. The song encouraged soldiers to remember the event as they fought the war. It was a song meant to inspire hope and encourage citizens and soldiers to continue fighting and constantly acknowledge why they were fighting. The final poster is below.
