Holocaust Remembrance
In this Holocaust Remembrance Project, everyone in the class studied a person who was involved in the holocaust. We had a few days to research stories and find one that we were interested in. We then wrote a letter to them that was dated the day before the Nazis invaded Poland. We could write them anything we wanted, such as warnings or encouragement. I wrote my letter to Irene Weiss, a woman who survived the holocaust. I watched multiple interviews and read many articles about her before I wrote my letter, and included some of her own quotes in it. Click below to read my final letter.
