Speak for the Ocean
"Speak for the Ocean" was a week-long biology project in which groups of 3 created and submitted videos to a nationwide contest. Sponsored by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, "Speak for the Ocean" was designed to get students interested and involved in issues relating to the environment and oceanic conservation. Each group created a 30 second video about a specific topic that they were passionate about. It had to explain the problem, the cause, and a potential solution.
My group's video was about the overfishing of the pacific sardine. It discussed the causes and effects of overfishing, as well as how to solve the problem and restore the population. Watch the video below.
